DS-100

Based on the AN1000 chip set, the DS-100 is designed for serial systems that need to be switched between remote resources. It operates in a point to multi-point mode. Offeriing standard serial data rates up to 115Kbps, the DS-100 is connected to a remote unit using the DS-100 connection software. Once two units are connected any serial application can utilise the connect as though it was dedicated serial cable. The DS-100 can communicate up to 2Km, any one side of a power transformers.

Up to 16 units can be on the network at any given time. Multiple serial connections can occur simultaneously as shown in the diagram.
